MODEL UNITED NATIONS
Model United Nations (MUN) was first created by Harvard students in 1955. The idea was to simulate the UN meetings and debates, so students can have a detailed introduction of the world of global politics and diplomacy.
At Hamelin-Laie, we created a group of students who meet regularly to work on global issues.
These students work on resolutions, position papers, speeches, country profiles, etc.
MUN is led by Thom Gibbs, Global Politics (IB Diploma) teacher.
